Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, pay applications, change orders, cash flow, and subcontractor invoices.
- Review project documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or issues.
- Lead project communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, budget, quality, and operational challenges.
- Manage subcontractor buyouts, procurement activities, contract administration, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, project requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, final documentation, and client turnover.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related commercial construction role.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects with budgets of $5 million or greater.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, project schedules, and construction practices.
- Experience managing project budgets, cost controls, change orders, pay applications, and subcontractor administration.
- Proficiency with construction management software, estimating tools, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
