About this role

Create your best future and join Westpac as an Associate Director, Health Relationship Management

What’s the role?

As an Associate Director in our Health and Seniors Living team, you’ll manage a portfolio of institutional clients and help build strong, sustainable relationships across the sector. You’ll work closely with senior Relationship Managers, developing a clear understanding of each client’s business and connecting them with banking solutions that support their goals.

You’ll lead the delivery of a broad range of institutional banking products and services, coordinating transactions from early client discussions through to implementation. This will involve bringing together colleagues from product, risk, business development, customer insights and analytics, as well as teams from across Westpac, to provide a responsive and joined-up client experience.

In this permanent opportunity based in Brisbane, you’ll also contribute to local sector strategy and customer account planning, identify opportunities across your portfolio and support marketing activity with other industry and product teams. Alongside this, you’ll maintain high standards across credit assessment, exposure management, risk and compliance, helping ensure the portfolio is well managed.

What do I need?

You’ll bring sound commercial judgement, strong relationship skills and the confidence to work across complex client and stakeholder environments.

- Experience working with institutional or corporate banking clients, ideally within the health, aged care or seniors living sectors.

- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build credibility and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers.

- The ability to lead complex banking transactions and coordinate internal specialists to deliver suitable products and services for clients.

- Sound knowledge of credit assessment, risk and compliance, with the judgement to manage a portfolio responsibly.

- A strong understanding of financial products, lending markets and relevant industry trends, combined with a responsive and client-focused approach.

Why join us?
