## Position Summary
Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Regional Field Operations Manager (RFOM), Modernization to provide leadership, operational direction, and strategic oversight for Modernization field operations across Canada.
The RFOM is responsible for driving safety, execution excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction, talent development, and operational standardization across all Canadian provinces. This leader partners closely with Operating Area leadership, sales, project management, field operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure consistent execution and profitable growth.
The RFOM serves as the senior Modernization operations leader for Canada and is accountable for delivering operational results while building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and leadership development.
Your Leadership Impact
- Provide leadership, training, and technical direction to Modernization employees and field operations staff, including support for large bids
- Analyze office‑level financial results, identify variances and drivers, report and support findings with corrective actions
- Monitor field tests as well as first inspection and data reports
- Collaborate with field teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and critical customer concerns, ensuring operational continuity and customer satisfaction
- Analyze complaint trends and implement solutions to address systemic issues and enforce adherence to estimated schedules
- Champion operational excellence through process accountability across the Modernization field Operations team within the Operating Area
- Develop and communicate recommendations for product designs and performance requirements
- Responsible for the quality of all modernizations in the Operating Area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years elevator industry experience required
- Management experience required
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
Travel : 50% travel required
The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $183,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
