Intro

To lead, coordinate and oversee the delivery of company secretarial services to clients, working closely with the Director, Head of Operations and the wider team to ensure high-quality, compliant and efficient service delivery. The Senior Manager will liaise directly with clients and CSC offices globally, lead key client relationships and onboarding activities, and contribute to business development opportunities, operational excellence and transformation initiatives.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

Client Service & Delivery

- Lead the delivery of company secretarial services
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client expectations.
- Provide governance support and advisory input to clients as required
- Act as a key escalation point for complex client queries
- Monitor service quality, operational performance and team utilisation

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

- Participate in client meetings, proposal discussions, and solution design activities.
- Lead and coordinate onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to business-as-usual service delivery.
- Maintain strong, trusted relationships with key clients as a primary point of contact
- Liaise effectively with clients and CSC offices to ensure seamless service delivery
- Identify potential cross selling opportunities by developing and maintaining a good relationship with existing clients, both locally and internationally
- Support business development initiatives through technical expertise and solution design.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CSC offices globally, service providers, and internal stakeholders.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, coach and develop team members through effective performance management, mentoring, succession planning and capability development.
- Provide leadership, technical expertise and guidance on complex governance, corporate secretarial and regulatory matters.
- Review and oversee team deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, client service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support resource planning, workload allocation and capacity management
- Oversee financial management activities, including billing, fee collection, revenue capture and accurate time recording.
- Identify capability gaps and implement training, development and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team performance and technical expertise.

Process Improvement & Transformation

- Drive process enhancement initiatives by reviewing, developing and implementing policies, procedures and operational controls to improve efficiency, quality and risk management.
- Champion change management and operational improvement initiatives that enhance client outcomes, employee engagement and business performance.
- Support transformation initiatives, including automation and system enhancements
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve service delivery and reduce operational risk

Compliance

- Ensure compliance with governance standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Oversee client acceptance and onboarding compliance processes.
- Act as liaison between Compliance and operational teams for complex matters.
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the team.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

- Qualification in Corporate Governance or diploma/degree in related disciplines (law, accounting, business and finance)
- Chartered Secretary (ACG/FCG), Chartered Governance Professional, or equivalent governance qualification preferred
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in a legal, corporate secretarial or financial services environment, and a minimum of 2 years demonstrated management experience
- Strong understanding of and passion for corporate governance and corporate management services.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, adaptable to new challenges and committed to continuous learning.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
