A double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with offices in Queens and on Manhattan's Upper East Side is adding a coordinator to the Forest Hills team. The practice focuses on facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery and reconstruction after skin cancer. Patients here are often making a very personal decision, so the practice wants someone calm and polished who can guide them from consultation to recovery. You will book procedures and follow-up visits, present surgical quotes and collect deposits, review pre-op and post-op instructions, gather medical clearances and keep charts complete in the EMR. You will also coordinate the surgeon's time between the two offices. Pay is competitive and based on experience, and the benefits come with the stability of a long-established private practice.
At least 1 year of experience in a plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery or dermatology office
Comfortable discussing procedure costs, financing and deposits with prospective patients
Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems
Polished phone and in-person manner suited to a high-end cosmetic practice
