Job Description

Achieves sales targets and revenue goals established by Straumann Korea.

Identifies and researches sources to develop prospective customers and evaluates their sales potential.

Expedites and resolves customer issues, inquiries, and complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Coordinates sales initiatives cross-functionally with Sales Management, Marketing, Customer Service, Accounting, and Logistics.

Analyzes territory potential and assesses the commercial value of both existing and prospective accounts to the organization.

Develops and executes account value plans for existing customers, highlighting customer profiles, market share, and revenue growth opportunities.

Utilizes CRM software effectively to track, manage, and advance customer interactions and sales pipelines.

Formulates and executes territory sales strategies to maximize Return on Time Invested (ROTI) across the assigned Daegu/Gyeongbuk region.

Provides management with regular oral and written reports on customer needs, market challenges, competitive activities, and potential opportunities for new products and services.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product applications, clinical/technical services, market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends through literature review and collaboration with Marketing and Training & Education (T&E).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Activities & Business Development

Drive sales of the Straumann Group portfolio (dental implants, biomaterials, prosthetics, and digital solutions) to dental clinics, general/university hospitals, and relevant healthcare institutions.

Identify and qualify prospective accounts while actively nurturing and expanding relationships with existing key clients.

Promote products by presenting clinical indications, unique selling propositions (USPs), procedural benefits, and evidence-based clinical case studies to clinicians.

2. Account Management & Customer Support

Manage and support client operations regarding product ordering, expedited delivery tracking, consignment stock, and inventory optimization.

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, delivering high-level technical and clinical troubleshooting support.

Facilitate clinical product training by actively participating in hands-on workshops, surgical seminars, and study club sessions.

3. Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning

Monitor and analyze market dynamics, dental industry trends, and competitor activities within the assigned territory.

Formulate and execute regional territory business plans and tactical sales strategies to maximize market share.

Deliver and track monthly/quarterly sales quotas, providing timely pipeline updates and commercial forecasting to leadership.

4. Events & Marketing Execution

Represent the company at academic congresses, symposia, clinical exhibitions, and trade shows.

Execute local marketing initiatives through effective collateral distribution, on-site product demonstrations, and hands-on trial sessions.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or above (Majors in Dental Technology, Dental Hygiene, or related life science/healthcare disciplines preferred).

- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the dental or medical device industry (implant sales experience strongly preferred).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong collaborative teamwork and self-motivation.

- Demonstrated consultative selling skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset.

- A proactive team player with a continuous learning and growth mindset.

- Solid understanding of the dental market landscape, clinical environment, and medical device regulations.

- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record and willingness to travel within the assigned territory).

- Reports to Regional Sales Manager
