Our client URGENTLY requires Commercial Manager for 2months+ Contracts in Sydney.
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team supporting a complex sustainment environment. This role is ideal for a commercially focused professional with a strong financial background and demonstrated experience operating within Defence ERP environments. You will provide commercial and financial leadership across contract management, supplier engagement, and governance activities to ensure contractual obligations and value-for-money outcomes.
Skills and Experience required includes:
- Provide specialist commercial and financial advice to stakeholders and project teams.
- Utilise ERP systems to manage commitments, expenditure, purchase orders, and financial transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting.
- Manage supplier invoicing, including validation, payment assurance, and compliance.
- Develop commercial documentation, including business cases, strategies, and tender materials.
- Undertake commercial governance, assurance, and contract performance management.
- Deliver aircraft certification activities, including configuration and software changes, working closely with Defence and industry stakeholders.
Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
