(Senior) IT Project Manager (d/f/m)

Summary Statement

Our Global IT team is a key partner to Ottobock’s business units. As a business enabler, we provide the entire portfolio of infrastructure and applications. As part of our IT strategy, we have positioned ourselves for the future and need additional support to further drive our strategic and tactical IT projects and to support the company’s strong growth with scalable IT solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Management of Complex Transformation Projects: overseeing multiple cross-functional IT and business transformation projects from the initial demand phase through successful implementation and stabilization

- End-to-End Project Responsibility: responsibility for scope, timeline, budget, quality, risks, dependencies, KPIs and business outcomes

- Structuring & Implementation: translating business requirements into clearly structured projects with a roadmap, governance, delivery model and defined decision-making processes

- Global Rollouts & Dependencies: managing international rollouts and parallel workstreams across regions, functions, business processes and applications

- Business Solutions & Business Partnership: leading projects in an integrated SAP and business solutions environment, as well as actively advising and constructively challenging the business to develop sustainable solutions

- Stakeholder Management & Hands-on Execution: orchestrating internal and external teams, creating transparency and actively resolving critical project situations—from root cause analysis through recovery scenarios to implementation

Qualifications

- A successfully completed degree in (Business) Computer Science, Business Administration, a natural science or a comparable field

- At least 5 years of experience leading complex, international IT and business transformation projects, ideally in a global manufacturing environment

- Demonstrable experience with global rollouts and parallel workstreams, as well as managing complex organizational, technical and regional dependencies

- A strong understanding of integrated end-to-end business processes in areas such as finance, HR, sales, service, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, as well as experience in SAP or a comparable enterprise application environment

- Solid project management and implementation skills: from project setup, roadmap and governance through budget, KPI, risk and dependency management to successful implementation and stabilization

- Strong business partner and stakeholder skills: understanding and constructively challenging business requirements, reconciling differing interests and interacting confidently

- Communicating professionally with management, international stakeholders, IT teams and external partners

- Strong analytical and hands-on implementation skills: structuring complex situations, driving decisions forward, resolving obstacles and consistently leading even challenging projects to success

- Excellent German and English language skills at the C1 level
