Role Description:

Synergy’s Aboriginal Traineeship Program is a great opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to earn while you learn, gain real experience, and complete a nationally recognised qualification. This exciting opportunity is based in our Perth Central Park Office.

This 12-month program offers holistic support, mentoring, and structured training to help you build your personal and professional skills.

As a Business Support Trainee, you’ll be placed in one of five business areas.

You’ll be supported every step of the way with structured training, mentoring and hands-on experience that will build the foundation for long term success.

Job responsibilities:

- Build skills and experience through workplace learning, training and hands-on work.

- Work collaboratively with teams across the business and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace.

- Support meaningful projects and activities that make a real impact.

- Develop professional communication skills and build confidence working with a range of people.

- Take ownership of your learning, development and growth throughout the traineeship.

What you will bring:

You don’t need any previous work experience, just a great attitude and a desire to grow. We’re looking for someone who is:

- Reliable and committed to completing the traineeship

- Has an interest in building a career in business, administration or project work

- Enthusiastic and eager to learn

- Friendly, respectful, and a team player

- Good communication skills

- Organised with good attention to detail

- With basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems
