Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an intern to join our People & Culture function within Schroders in Zurich. You will assist the local Human Resource Business Partner in the daily administration and advisory services in relation to general HR services to both Schroders Employees and Senior Managers.

The team

You will work closely with the HR BPs for Switzerland but will also be part of the broader HR team based in Europe.

What you’ll do

- Support the HR Business Partners, in all the dimensions of a generalist human resources role such as administrative activities, meeting labour laws requirements, supporting in the hiring process, preparing meetings with CSE members, assisting on internal communication, etc.
- Provide day-to-day support to the HR Business Partner, including on various key projects for the Group
- Address HR queries and questions from local employees
- Liaise with various stakeholders, from HR colleagues in other locations (London included) to external providers.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

- University Degree or Business School with a major in Human Resources Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Affinity with HR Information Systems is a plus
