Position Overview
The Marketing Executive is a hands-on delivery role within the Events & Marketing Services team. The role supports the planning, execution and reporting of marketing campaigns across Insurance Insider’s conferences, awards and wider event portfolio.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will support campaign delivery across copywriting, asset coordination, email and social execution, stakeholder communication and performance reporting. Over time, the role will take increasing day-to-day ownership of campaign execution, allowing the Marketing Manager to focus more on strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Conferences and awards
Support marketing activity for major events, including the London Market Conference, New York Conference, ILS Connect, Insurance Insider Honours, US Honors and ILS Awards. Responsibilities include supporting campaign briefs, contributing ideas, coordinating creative assets, scheduling and sending campaigns, posting across channels, and supporting reporting and optimisation.

Insider Progress and Executive Business Club
Own campaign briefs and day-to-day execution following initial strategy and launch discussions with the Marketing Manager. Lead copywriting, support design and asset production, manage campaign reporting, and act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and commercial teams.

Webinars, roundtables and sponsored video
Produce sales packs and creative assets to support commercial campaigns. Lead copywriting for invitations, promotional materials and sales collateral, liaise with Operations on agenda and speaker requirements, and support campaign reporting.

Ongoing marketing activity
Support social media management, brand and marketing copywriting, portfolio planning, process improvements and monthly lead reporting.

Key Measures of Success
Success in this role will be measured by timely delivery of campaigns to brand standard, strong attention to detail, effective campaign execution, clear communication with Operations, Sales and other stakeholders, and support for delegate revenue, sponsorship and table sales targets.
The role will also be expected to demonstrate strong ownership of day-to-day marketing execution, helping the Marketing Manager focus more on strategic priorities.
