Safety Manager / Regional Corporate Real Estate Administrator ,Officer

Job Description :

Lead and govern the organization’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program across Philippine locations, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective risk management, emergency preparedness, and a safe and resilient 24/7 workplace.

Provide leadership and technical direction to Safety Officers, First Aiders, Emergency Response Teams, and other designated OSH personnel while partnering with key business functions.

Support the Regional Corporate Real Estate (CRE) function through effective administration, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the efficient management and delivery of regional real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities

Occupational Health and Safety

•             Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the OSH program.

•             Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine OSH, fire and life safety, and regulatory requirements.

•             Oversee workplace risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.

•             Manage emergency preparedness, drills, response plans, and emergency teams.

•             Coordinate OSH training, employee awareness, ergonomics, and Safety and Health Committee activities.

•             Establish and monitor contractor and vendor safety requirements.

•             Provide leadership and technical guidance to Safety Officers, First Aiders, and emergency responders.

•             Support workplace expansions, renovations, fit-outs, and operational changes from a safety perspective.

•             Maintain regulatory documentation, compliance records, dashboards, and management reporting.

•             Serve as the primary point of contact for government regulatory inspections and coordinate with relevant agencies, including DOLE, BFP, DENR, and other authorities.

•             Partner with Operations, HR, Facilities, CRE, Security, Clinic/Medical Services, Business Continuity, Procurement, and other stakeholders to strengthen workplace safety.

Regional Corporate Real Estate

•             Maintain CRE records, trackers, reports, and documentation.

•             Support lease administration, including tracking key dates and milestones.

•             Coordinate with Asset Managers, Project Managers, and other CRE stakeholders across the APAC region on real estate matters and initiatives.

•             Assist with purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and payment tracking.

•             Maintain and consolidate site data, including headcount, seat capacity, and space utilization.

•             Support CRE projects, meetings, presentations, reporting, and action tracking.

•             Provide general administrative and coordination support to Local and Regional CRE leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

•             Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Equivalent relevant education combined with substantial occupational safety and health experience may also be considered.

•             Possess the appropriate DOLE-recognized OSH training and certification required to qualify as a Safety Officer 3 (SO3).

•             Preferably 8+ years of relevant OSH experience, including safety program implementation and leadership.

•             Experience in a large corporate, BPO, shared services, financial services, or 24/7 environment preferred.

•             Strong working knowledge of Philippine OSH regulations, DOLE reporting and compliance, risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety management.

•             Experience supporting regulatory inspections, statutory documentation, and corrective action management.

•             Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across business functions, Facilities, HR, Operations, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

•             Demonstrated ability to drive OSH compliance, employee safety awareness, and continuous improvement of workplace safety programs.
