Within CIB, Global Transaction Banking (GTB) provides integrated Trade Finance, Cash Management, payments, collections, liquidity and working capital solutions, enabling clients to manage their day-to-day financial activities and international commercial flows efficiently.

About the job:

BBVA is looking for an Associate Lead – Business Management & Execution to join its Global Transaction Banking team in Belgium.

This role sits at the heart of transaction execution, acting as a key link between clients, relationship teams and operational units, with exposure to a broad range of local and international Trade Finance and Cash Management products.

What you will do

- Support the execution of a broad range of Trade Finance and Cash Management solutions, including Import and Export Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Working Capital solutions, Factoring and Supply Chain Finance.
- Act as the main operational point of contact for clients after deal closing, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Review transactional documentation and coordinate internal approvals in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex, cross-border transactions.
- Support the operational delivery of Cash Management services, including payments, collections, account-related activities and operational monitoring linked to GTB activities.
- Contribute to reporting, transaction monitoring and performance tracking.
- Support supplier onboarding for Supply Chain Finance programs.

Who you are

- You have experience in Trade Finance or Transaction Banking, ideally covering products such as documentary credits, guarantees, Supply Chain Finance, Factoring or Working Capital solutions, in an international environment.
- You are client-oriented, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced, regulated and international context.
- You are fluent in English (French, Dutch and Spanish are a plus).
