Project & Cost Management

Key Responsibilities

- Manage cost management and quantity surveying activities across assigned projects.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost plans.
- Conduct quantity take-offs, measurement and valuation of construction works.
- Support tender documentation, bid evaluation and contractor selection.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review variations, claims, interim payment applications and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Provide cost advice and ensure project delivery aligns with approved budgets and client requirements.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, project procedures and quality requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in cost management and quantity surveying within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost planning, tendering, measurement and contract administration.
- Experience in handling variations, claims, valuations and final accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying / cost management tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with multidisciplinary cost management teams and consulting organisations.
- Exposure to commercial, residential, infrastructure or urban development projects.
- Knowledge of relevant contract forms, cost management practices and industry standards.
