About the role
Provide specialist support in traffic demand assessment, traffic forecasting, and rolling stock demand analysis for project components identified in the TOR. The position is responsible for preparing survey questionnaires, defining data collection requirements, analyzing traffic demand, preparing traffic forecasts in line with World Bank guidelines, and assisting the Rolling Stock Expert in preparing the Rolling Stock Demand Analysis Report. .
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for setting out the survey questionnaire and data collection requirements to assess traffic demand as stipulated in the TOR
- Based on traffic demand, prepare traffic forecast for each component following World Bank’s Guidelines for Economic Analysis and Financial Due Diligence
- Assist the Rolling Stock Expert to prepare the Rolling Stock Demand Analysis Report

About You:
- Graduation in Transportation Engineering/Economics or equivalent relevant subject
- 15 years total professional experience, preferably 10 years’ experience in railway field.
- 8 years’ experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 5 years’ experience in similar post for similar type consultancy.
- Working experience in SAARC project would be preferable.
