requirement of Apigee and ACE Integration Engineer - Contract - Sydney
Requirements
- Proven experience with IBM DataPower security configurations and management.
- Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, encryption, and authentication protocols.
- Experience with Apigee API management and Confluent Kafka is highly desirable.
- Ability to build complex message flow orchestrations in ACE, including multi-step transformations, error handling strategies, and aggregation/splitting patterns, with minimal oversight
- Independently explore, evaluate, and introduce new integration patterns and complex flow orchestrations using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), in line with the existing conventions and approved architecture principles and guidelines, including cloud target-state architecture
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java / Javascript, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with both RESTful and SOAP/XML APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (proactive and highly responsive) and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the design considerations relevant to high performance / high availability operational environments
- Insurance or financial services experience (e.g., ACORD Messaging)
- Good time management skills for the coordination of multiple tasks.
- Eye for detail as you will be responsible for the quality of the software solutions the team develops and supports
