This position will support the Area Sales team and Centre Trade & Marketing teams to manage and grow assigned customer accounts in line with organizational strategy, goals, policies, and processes.

Ocean Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing North America (NAM) Tender customers and ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of tender-related activities. The role includes quotation management, tender execution, contract administration, and close coordination with GSC teams, including Contract Correction Team (CCT), Disputes, and Invoice Quality (IQ) functions, to deliver an excellent customer experience and commercial outcome.

Purpose of the role:

Looking for candidates with 5-10 years of experience in Tender Management, Freight Pricing, Quotations, Contract Management, or Tender Bidding within the Logistics, Shipping, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain industry . The role involves preparing and managing customer tenders, rate sheets, pricing proposals, and supporting commercial negotiations while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Candidates should have strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and be comfortable working in a night shift (6 PM to 3 AM) from Chennai . Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum 30-day notice period arepreferred.

Purpose of this role

This position will support the Area Sales team and Centre Trade & Marketing teams to manage and grow assigned customer accounts in line with organizational strategy, goals, policies, and processes.

Ocean Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing North America (NAM) Tender customers and ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of tender-related activities. The role includes quotation management, tender execution, contract administration, and close coordination with GSC teams, including Contract Correction Team (CCT), Disputes, and Invoice Quality (IQ) functions, to deliver an excellent customer experience and commercial outcome.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle all negotiation rounds of Tender for Key Client Segmentations requests received online.
- Drives analytical projects to support our tender management process and improve quality deliverables.
- Produces Tender Strategy analysis to facilitate coordination between Sales, Trade and Marketing.
- Supports collection of nominations and maintains nomination database and contracts
- Supports the strategy team on commitment compliance reporting and

governance.

- Prepares Negotiation Package for customers.
- Supports in measuring customer performance, Salesforce.com updates and reporting
- Supports projects and ad hoc initiatives within TCM.
- Key responsible for enabling growth via stragic partnership with Sales & CX

Who we are looking for

- Master’s or bachelor’s degree from recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Customer Service, Tender, Sales and Performance Management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate outputs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Basic knowledge of shipping, freight pricing, quotations, tenders, and contracts is an advantage.
- Open to working in perpetual night shifts supporting North America business operations.
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a dynamic global environment.
