Job Summary

Engineering - Our engineering team is at the core of our products and connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. The Product

Secrets Hub is a cloud-native, multi-cloud SaaS product that helps organizations centralize secrets management across AWS, Azure, GCP, and HashiCorp Vault, securing critical workloads for the world's largest enterprises.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will design and implement scalable, secure services for the Secrets Hub platform while leading complex technical initiatives and architectural decisions. You will set the standard for software quality and security, collaborating globally to drive modern, IaC-driven development and long-term system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable and secure services as part of the Secrets Hub platform.
- Lead complex technical initiatives, architectural decisions, and system design within the team.
- Set the standard for software quality, security, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate daily with product managers, architects, and engineers across global teams.
- Work with AWS serverless technologies and AWS CDK in a modern, IaC-driven development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot complex production scenarios and drive long-term improvements in reliability and observability.
- Be a key contributor to defining the technical identity of a growing team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on distributed systems and backend development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies and AWS CDK.
- Proven expertise in modern software development lifecycles, including IaC and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to proactively drive discussions with stakeholders and lead architectural decisions for complex technical initiative s   architectural decisions and system design for complex technical initiatives.
- Strong background in implementing software quality, security, and testing standards.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within cybersecurity or secrets management domains.
- Proven track record of driving long-term improvements in system reliability and observability.
- Experience collaborating effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to mentor team members and shape the technical identity of an engineering group.
