With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Game Engine QA to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

- Perform all kinds of manual testing

- Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before code is submitted to the main developer branches

- Write new and maintain existing automated tests (Python/Pytest and Lua)

- Follow priorities set by the QA Lead to ensure team-wide goals are met

- Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools

- Act as the first point of contact for the production team on technical issues

Requirements

- Experience in programming and/or scripting

- Familiarity working with game engines

- Background using Perforce or other version control systems

- Good judgment in estimating the significance and consequences of bugs

- A rigorous, methodical, and resourceful approach to your work

- Self-disciplined, with strong self-learning skills

- Good communication skills, spoken and written, in English

- Passion for video games

- Desire to build a long-term career in QA

Nice To Haves

- Prior experience in QA is a big plus

- Knowledge of JIRA and Jenkins

- Familiarity with the RPG genre
