We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to support our cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. The ideal candidate should be open to working in a rotating shift schedule to ensure seamless operations.
## Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud-based services .
- Own and support end-to-end build, deployment, release, and production operations , ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps tools, technologies, and processes to enhance pipeline performance, deployment efficiency, and system reliability.
- Design and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, and/or Groovy to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and optimize Linux-based systems , including configuration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and system administration.
- Work extensively with Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker , and other DevOps tools to build and maintain robust deployment workflows.
- Manage and support web-based applications and infrastructure involving CDN and cloud services , with hands-on experience in GCP or Azure .
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and cloud environments, and drive issues through to resolution.
- Implement and maintain best practices around deployment automation, configuration management, monitoring, logging, security, and system reliability .
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, security, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance on DevOps practices, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of DevOps standards, processes, and operational best practices .
- Support multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Build & Release Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
- BE / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting .
- Strong expertise in Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker , and modern CI/CD processes.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and strong experience with Python and/or Groovy for automation.
- Hands-on experience managing and supporting web-based applications, CDN, and cloud infrastructure .
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably GCP or Azure .
- Experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex CI/CD pipelines .
- Good understanding of cloud networking, deployment architecture, scalability, availability, and security best practices .
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and release management .
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and take ownership of critical production and deployment activities.
- Experience mentoring team members and providing technical leadership is preferred.
