QA Engineer We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with strong hands-on experience in website testing and test automation . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of dedicated QA experience , with a solid background in validating web-based applications, responsive UI, integrations, user journeys, and automation frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and usability of digital experiences delivered to our clients. This role involves designing comprehensive test plans, executing manual and automated tests , identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product teams.
### Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing for web-based applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright .
- Execute automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines wherever applicable.
- Conduct responsive testing across devices and browsers using tools such as BrowserStack .
- Validate website performance, UI/UX consistency, and user flows across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira (or similar tools).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive timely bug resolution and verify fixes.
Process & Quality Ownership
- Ensure deliverables meet internal quality standards and client expectations.
- Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and test automation coverage .
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, provide QA estimates, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare test summary reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including manual and automation testing of web-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, cross-browser, responsive, and automation testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks .
- Experience with BrowserStack or similar device/cloud testing platforms.
- Good understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience using QA and project tools ( Jira, Confluence, TestRail , etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AEM or other major CMS platforms is a strong plus.
