Role Purpose

Join our Portugal-based sourcing team and lead strategic procurement initiatives across Facility Management services. You will advise clients, manage sourcing projects from opportunity identification through contracting, and deliver measurable commercial and operational value across categories such as technical services, cleaning, security, workplace services and integrated facility management. The role combines category expertise, stakeholder engagement and hands-on execution in an international, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across Facility Management services, from market analysis and sourcing strategy through negotiation, contracting and supplier implementation.

- Build trusted relationships with client, internal and supplier stakeholders and translate business needs into clear sourcing outcomes.

- Plan and manage competitive tenders, including requests for proposal, bid analysis, supplier evaluation and award recommendations.

- Negotiate commercial, service, compliance and contractual terms to deliver sustainable value and strong supplier relationships.

- Identify savings and improvement opportunities through spend analysis, market insight and proactive stakeholder engagement.

- Prepare accurate savings forecasts, reports and supporting documentation in line with client methodologies.

- Use digital sourcing platforms to run tender events and eAuctions efficiently and transparently.

- Ensure delivery against agreed service levels, performance indicators, governance standards and timelines.

- Contribute Facility Management market knowledge and practical ideas that improve category strategies, sourcing approaches, tools and ways of working.

- Support the development of junior colleagues and share best practices across the team.

Requirements

- Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within Facility Management, ideally covering categories such as technical services, cleaning, security, workplace services or integrated facility management.

- Strong understanding of sourcing processes, competitive tendering, supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable savings and broader commercial value.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with spend, pricing and bid data.

- Clear stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across different organizational levels.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver under time pressure.

- Practical experience with source-to-contract or e-sourcing tools.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

- Excellent written and spoken English and German.

- Collaborative, client-focused and results-oriented working style.
