Senior Sponsorship Account Lead – Sport

What you’ll do

You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:

- Manage the relationship with the various rights holders. Betway SA20 team
- SA Rugby team
- 4Racing

- Develop sponsorship strategies and activation plans with insights from market research and data Compile activation plans per property per annum that aligns to our strategy

- Manage and maintain budgets for each respective property Develop sponsorship activation budgets for approval
- Manage budget reporting quarterly

- Prepare monthly sponsorship status proposals Compile and present monthly plans for each property that align to strategy

- Conduct negotiation of extension and renewals of sponsorship agreements Work closely with legal counsel to ensure contracts are up to date and negotiated accordingly.

- Research and update competitor database to conduct comparative analysis of marketing activities, product, new features etc. Marketing activities in our sector

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
- Previous experience in the sports industry, with a strong understanding of rights holder and agency relationships
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
- Experience in developing and executing sponsorship activation strategies
- In depth knowledge of various sporting codes
