Lead Software Engineer

OWT is a strategy and technology consulting firm. We partner with Anthropic behind Alpha Factory, Switzerland's first centre of excellence for human-centered AI adoption.

We are strengthening our team of experts and looking for a passionate Lead Software Engineer to drive transformation across leading Swiss organizations, based in our Zurich office.

Your mission

- Lead the design and delivery of software solutions leveraging Claude, Claude Code and engineering best practices
- Act as the go-to technical contact for our clients
- Take part in the entire project lifecycle: from requirements analysis to production, including design, development, quality assurance and operational support
- Contribute to defining the technical architecture and set up CI/CD pipelines, applying agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe) and a DevSecOps culture
- Mentor developers and foster a continuous learning environment

Requirements

- Degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 7 years of development experience and proven experience leading Agile teams
- Proficiency in Spring Boot or .NET; Angular/React is a plus
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering and agent design; RAG is a plus
- Good knowledge of web architectures, REST services and security best practices (OWASP, JWT, authorization management)
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Solid hands-on experience with Docker; understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps culture
- Fluency in German and English (minimum C1); French is a plus
