Finance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Manager to support the day-to-day running of the finance function across our Film & Television production business.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, Production teams and external advisers, you will help ensure, strong financial controls and efficient finance operations across both group and production entities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking to broaden their experience across both group and production finance within a fast-paced and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting

- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.

- Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments.

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.

- Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting.

- Assist with year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting.

Production Finance

- Support the financial management of production entities and SPVs.

- Work closely with Production Accountants and production teams.

- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and production recharges.

- Assist with project setup, reporting and wrap activities.

Finance Operations

- Support accounts payable and receivable processes.

- Review supplier payments and expense claims.

- Assist with payroll administration and reconciliations.

- Support VAT returns, compliance reporting, and bank account management.

- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.

Business Partnering & Process Improvement

- Act as a trusted finance business partner across the organisation.

- Provide financial analysis and support to operational and production stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting.

- Support finance projects, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience
Essential

- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience.

- 5+ years' experience within a finance role.

- Strong understanding of month-end processes and reconciliations.

- Proficient in G-Suite (or similar).

- Experience working within a Film, TV, Media or Creative industry.

- Production accounting experience.

- Great organisational and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Desirable

- Xero accounting system experience.

- Payroll and VAT experience.

- Experience working with multiple entities and intercompany transactions.

- Experience supporting Film and Television productions from development through to delivery.
