Associate Production Control Planner

SRCTec, LLC  is currently seeking an Associate Production Control Planner. The selected candidate will support manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient material flow, accurate WIP tracking, and timely progression of Manufacturing Orders (MOs). This role works closely with Production Control, Operations, and supporting teams to resolve shortages, remove flow obstacles, and maintain alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

What You’ll Do

- Monitor material movement from initial release through final completion to ensure smooth and consistent flow across all WIP stages.
- Track daily WIP status to identify bottlenecks, delays, or shortages impacting MO progression, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Monitor MO completion rates and intervene when orders are at risk of missing planned finish dates.
- Maintain strong awareness of MPS requirements and support schedule accuracy by reporting deviations, delays, or rescheduling needs.
- Collaborate with Production Control Planners to resolve material shortages, initiate replacements, and coordinate corrective actions that protect material flow.
- Communicate with Operations to ensure production teams are aware of material priorities, WIP constraints, and order status changes.
- Assist with root‑cause analysis for flow disruptions (missing material, incorrect staging, delays in processing, etc.) and help drive corrective action.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to WIP flow, material staging efficiency, and MO execution accuracy.
- Support the MRB team by processing material transactions in a timely manner.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor's degree and 0-1 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Knowledge of inventory management, bills of material, and MRP systems

- Must be able to organize and manage multiple, changing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $XX,000 to $XX,000 annually OR $xx/hour - $xx/hour.
