ABOUT NEW ENERGY NEXUS

New Energy Nexus ( www.newenergynexus.com) is an international NGO that supports climate solutions and builds a more equitable clean energy economy. Our laser focus is on clean energy entrepreneurs: providing them with funds, accelerators, and networks to thrive. They are our main audience and our agent of change.

Founded in California in 2004, New Energy Nexus now operates across China, India, Southeast Asia, East and West Africa, and Australia. To date, we have supported more than 11,000 entrepreneurs and helped leverage US$5.4 billion in investment.

In the Philippines, New Energy Nexus has been supporting the growth of the clean energy ecosystem since 2019 through entrepreneurship, partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.

One of these initiatives is the New Energy Academy (NEA) , a renewable energy learning and certification platform designed to build practical skills for the growing clean energy workforce. NEA provides hybrid and self-paced online learning combined with hands-on practical training, with a strong focus on the solar power sector. Through accessible, industry-relevant training, NEA helps learners develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to participate in and contribute to the clean energy transition.
