Our Facilities team currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Assistant. The post holder will work on behalf of the Facilities Team and have responsibility for the effective management of the facilities service functions.

As our Facilities Assistant you will:

- Support with general painting, decorating, repairs and facilities services carrying out work to a high standard
- Clean and prepare the areas for which you are responsible following the required policies and procedures, e.g. health and safety, infection prevention and control etc
- Complete any paperwork required, correctly and on time
- Provide general assistance and support as part of the team
- Report any problems with your work area or any equipment to your Line Manager
- Working in a fast-moving environment, with constant interaction with all areas of the hospital
- When fire alarms are activated, to support the early recognition of activation area and support the evacuation
- Maintain all customer facing areas of the hospital to the highest levels of appearance and safety in accordance with the company brand

To succeed as a Facilities Assistant, you will need :

- A basic standard of general education
- Experience in general painting, decorating, repairs and facilities duties
- Passion for health and safety, you will have either achieved or be working towards a H&S related qualification
- A drive to continually improve the environment around you for the good of others
