### Job Highlights
This position is responsible for leading end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for all entities within the scope of SDC India, ensuring accurate and timely financial month-end close, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to internal controls. The role includes leading a team of finance professionals, driving process excellence, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives to deliver high-quality finance services.
1. Lead R2R Operations
- Manage end-to-end R2R activities including GL, journals, accruals, provisions, fixed assets and lease accounting.
- Ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year-end closing.
- Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with company policies.
2. Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, Local GAAP and statutory requirements.
- Maintain internal controls and support internal, external and statutory audits.
3. Reporting & Analysis
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, GL reporting and account analysis.
- Identify variances, unusual transactions and aging items and ensure timely resolution.
4. Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the R2R team through effective workload management, performance tracking and capability building.
- Drive accountability, collaboration and succession planning.
5. Process Excellence & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with global, regional and local stakeholders for effective service delivery.
- Drive standardization, automation, digitalization and continuous improvement.
- Identify operational risks and implement best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
Experience / Skills
- Specific Education CA / Inter CA / M com
- Work Experience 10+ years of experience
- Special Skills Expertise knowledge of IFRS & LKA. Prudent knowledge of Accounting principals, Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems preferably SAP, with advanced Excel skills, Reliability, High attention to detail, Number affinity, Process oriented, Good Communication skills, Team management
