Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Contract | Remote | $50-$55/hr We're seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support prior authorization and appeals reviews in a fully remote setting. This role focuses on evaluating clinical documentation, making coverage determinations, and ensuring accurate, timely decision-making.
### Responsibilities
Review prior authorization and appeal requests. Evaluate clinical documentation against established criteria. Make and document coverage determinations. Collaborate with providers, pharmacies, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
### Required Qualifications
Active Pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD) in state of residence. Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other technology platforms.
### Preferred Qualifications
Managed care or utilization management experience. Appeals review experience. Knowledge of CMS and prior authorization regulations. Specialty medication review experience. Experience with payer workflows and case management systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
