The Opportunity

As a Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Senior Manager you will lead client-facing cloud infrastructure and operations work within our Advisory practice, focusing on Amazon Web Services solutions that support platform design, deployment, and ongoing operations. As a Senior Manager you will bring strategic judgment, guide complex workstreams, coach teams through ambiguity, and communicate clear direction to stakeholders while balancing delivery priorities and service expectations. In this role at PwC, you will help shape secure, scalable cloud and network architecture solutions, drawing on your AWS knowledge, infrastructure operations background, and ability to translate technical needs into practical actions for clients.

In this role, you will be working within the Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network. You will design and build scalable and secure technology platforms, enabling insight-driven decision-making. Your ability to craft and convey clear, impactful messages and apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems will be crucial. Responsibilities

- Leading cloud infrastructure and network architecture workstreams for AWS deployment initiatives across client environments

- Designing scalable cloud platforms, virtualization layers, and network connectivity models that support secure application delivery

- Assessing current-state infrastructure, identifying architecture gaps, and translating findings into migration and modernization plans

- Advising clients on AWS landing zones, cloud strategy, and infrastructure patterns aligned to business and technical requirements

- Directing implementation of cloud networking, firewall controls, access protocols, and security performance tuning activities

- Applying architecture frameworks, enterprise integration concepts, and infrastructure design methods to solve cross-platform challenges

- Guiding teams through delivery issues, validating technical outcomes, and incorporating client feedback into solution design

- Coaching team members on cloud engineering methods, delivery planning, and operational discipline across multiple workstreams

- Communicating progress, risks, and technical tradeoffs to client stakeholders and internal leadership in clear terms

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree

- At least 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure delivery, including 2 or more years leading AWS work at enterprise scale

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering

- At least one of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional preferred; AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or relevant AWS Specialty certification

- Master's of Science or an MBA is preferred

- Leveraging AWS partner programs and funding mechanisms, including MAP, Enterprise Discount Programs, and private pricing, to support client strategy and solution economics

- Applying deep industry knowledge to shape cloud transformation strategies and solutions

- Demonstrating AWS cloud infrastructure architecture across complex client environments

- Leading cloud operations and platform engineering initiatives

- Crafting client-ready messages and coaching teams through ambiguity

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
