Position Overview
Due to continued business growth, we are recruiting a Trade Contractor Coordinator to join our Special Projects Department on a permanent basis in Dresden, Germany .
Reporting to the Geospatial Manager, the role will lead the delivery of our Geospatial Services to our Trade Contractor clients on a multi-year, high-profile semiconductor construction project, coordinating client requirements, resources and surveyors to deliver accurate, efficient and innovative geospatial solutions.
What You Will Do
- Oversee the delivery of surveying works for Trade Contractor clients on a large-scale semiconductor construction project.
- Act as a key point of contact for Trade Contractor clients, managing survey requirements from initial enquiry through to final delivery.
- Review client enquiries and prepare accurate pricing and quotations for survey works.
- Plan and coordinate survey activities, resources and priorities to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
- Determine appropriate survey methodologies and technical approaches to meet project requirements.
- Lead and provide technical guidance to surveyors throughout the planning, execution and delivery of works.
- Oversee the processing, quality control and delivery of survey data and project deliverables.
- Monitor survey requests, progress, programme and commercial records to support accurate project tracking and invoicing.
- Identify and proactively manage technical, operational, health and safety, access and resource constraints that could impact delivery.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, survey teams and Geospatial Management regarding progress, priorities, risks and changes.
- Ensure survey information, data and project records are appropriately managed and maintained.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective Trade Contractor clients and support the continued growth of geospatial services.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and standardisation of survey workflows, processes and delivery standards.
- Support the Geospatial Manager and Department Leads with site and office-based activities as required.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required in accordance with the scope and requirements of the project.
What You Will Bring
- Relevant qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, BIM, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant surveying experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects is essential.
- Strong understanding of the principles, practices and applications of surveying and geospatial engineering.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant CAD packages.
- Knowledge and practical understanding of survey network adjustments; experience with MicroSurvey STAR*NET would be desirable.
- Demonstrable ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple survey activities and priorities.
- Rigorous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Possess a full clean German / International Drivers’ licence.
- Legally entitled to work in Germany.
