VP, ICS New Plant Delivery

About the role:

As the VP, ICS New Plant Delivery, you will be the executive accountable for the successful delivery and full P&L performance of the multibillion USD APx new plant I&C portfolio across AP1000 and other new plant programs over the next decade. You will lead the ICS New Plant Delivery organization and own integrated execution across scope, schedule, cost, cash, quality, safety, risk, customer commitments, and portfolio outcomes.

You will establish the delivery strategy, governance, organization, and management operating system required to execute all APx new plant I&C programs assigned to ICS, including AP1000, OPR1000, and future new plant deployments. This will include translating APx project and customer commitments into executable ICS plans and integrates engineering, software, procurement, manufacturing, testing, site support, installation, and commissioning with the overall plant delivery schedule.

You will operate through a matrixed delivery model. I&C Engineering and Manufacturing (ICEM) organization owns engineering, manufacturing, and associated functional resources. You will be accountable for the integrated delivery outcome and will work with ICEM leadership to secure commitments, set priorities, resolve execution constraints, and ensure performance. ICS Global Product Management and Growth owns the AP1000 standard product strategy and lifecycle; you will ensure product decisions and standardization milestones support contract execution.

You will serve as the primary ICS executive interface to APx delivery leadership and will report to the President of the ICS Business Unit, for portfolio P&L, delivery confidence, organizational readiness, and strategic risk. This is a mobile position based out of our Warrendale, PA location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as executive for the global ICS New Plant Delivery portfolio and deliver commitments for safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash, and customer performance.

- Lead the New Plant ICS Delivery organization, including portfolio, program and project leadership, project controls, operational excellence, and delivery governance roles.

- Establish the portfolio delivery strategy, management operating system, decision rights, escalation protocols, scorecards, and review cadence required for predictable multi-project execution.

- Provide executive oversight of all APx new plant I&C programs assigned to ICS, including AP1000, OPR1000, and future deployments, from offer support and pre-contract transition through execution, commissioning, and closeout.

- Own full portfolio P&L performance, including annual operating plan commitments, forecasts, estimate-at-completion integrity, cash and milestone performance, margin protection, change control, and recovery actions.

- Ensure each program has clear scope, an integrated schedule, credible resource and capacity plans, executable procurement and manufacturing plans, current risk registers, and accountable leadership.

- Has authority to establish new plant portfolio priorities and require corrective action against agreed functional commitments. Unresolved resource or priority conflicts are escalated jointly to the ICS Engineering and Manufacturing VP and ICS President.

- Partner with ICEM leadership to define functional commitments, capacity plans, quality expectations, work-package accountability, and recovery actions. ICEM executes the functional scope; ICS New Plant Delivery owns the integrated portfolio outcome.

- Partner with ICS Global Product Management and Growth to ensure product strategy, standardization, configuration, qualification, obsolescence, and product investment decisions support fleet execution.

- Lead the New Plant Delivery team in supporting development of the I&C scope included in overall plant offers and support negotiations led by the APx overall project team, as needed. Provide ICS delivery concurrence that scope, schedule, cost basis, risk allocation, resource, manufacturing, and supply chain assumptions are executable before contractual commitment.

- Sponsor and govern the ICS APx Fleet Readiness and Scale-Up transformation required to build incremental labor, manufacturing, supplier, and delivery capacity.

- Serve as the primary ICS executive interface to APx leadership and align I&C commitments with plant-level objectives, customer requirements, contract strategy, and integrated schedules.

- Serve as the senior ICS executive interface with customers, EPC partners, regulators, and government stakeholders for major new plant I&C delivery matters, in coordination with APx Program leadership.

- Build a strong global leadership bench, succession plans, project delivery capability, and an accountable, inclusive, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Enginee ring, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.

- 15 + years of progressively senior leadership experience in nuclear, complex engineered products, EPC, defense, or another highly regulated industry. Proven leadership of multi-billion-dollar, multi-project or multi-unit portfolios and prior P&L accountability are required.

- Executive portfolio and P&L leadership; large-project delivery; enterprise risk and governance; financial forecasting and cost control; nuclear safety and quality leadership; customer leadership; matrix influence; organizational scaling; talent development; executive communication.

- Direct AP1000 experience strongly preferred. Nuclear I&C execution and international multi-unit deployment experience, with knowledge of digital safety systems, configuration management, qualification, cybersecurity, manufacturing and FAT; experience with regulators, utilities, EPC partners, government stakeholders, and global delivery centers.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $230,000 to $287,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
