What We’re Looking For :
A detail oriented and quality driven Laundry Presser who takes pride in finishing linens and garments to a crisp, consistent standard. You ensure every pressed item reflects our brand’s commitment to cleanliness, comfort, and presentation—supporting Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Valet/Laundry services with accuracy and care. In this role, you will operate pressing equipment safely and efficiently, meet production targets, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Your craftsmanship and consistency help our teams deliver an exceptional guest experience across rooms and outlets.

What You’ll Do :

- Press, finish, and touch up hotel linens and guest garments (e.g., sheets, pillowcases, table linens, uniforms, delicate items) using appropriate equipment such as steam presses, irons, and finishing tools.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and finishing quality; re‑process or flag issues to leadership as needed.
- Match finishing method to fabric and care requirements; follow temperature, moisture, and timing guidelines.
- Handle guest valet items with careful identification, tagging, and tracking to ensure accurate return times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing station; follow daily opening/closing and sanitation routines.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards while minimizing rework and waste.
- Coordinate with Wash, Dry, and Sort teams to ensure smooth workflow and on‑time delivery to Housekeeping and Valet.
- Adhere to safety protocols for heat/steam equipment, PPE usage, and chemical handling; report equipment issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory organization (hangers, covers, starch/spotter supplies) and basic equipment care per guidelines.
- Support training of new team members on pressing techniques, equipment basics, and quality checkpoints.

Other Responsibilities :

- Regularly lift up to 45 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
- Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Includes :

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in commercial laundry, dry cleaning, or housekeeping operations preferred; on the job training available.
- Familiarity with steam presses, hand irons, and fabric care standards; ability to learn equipment safely and quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, hand eye coordination, and ability to maintain consistent quality at pace.
- Basic organizational and communication skills; able to read work tickets and follow processing instructions.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and in warm/steam environments with appropriate PPE.
