What You’ll Do :
- Prepare banquet spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including setup of tables, chairs, linens, and service items
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they are comfortably seated and attended to
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently and professionally, following service standards and event timelines
- Monitor guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and respond to requests with attentiveness and care
- Clear and reset tables between courses and after events, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with banquet leadership and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely execution
- Support buffet and beverage station setup and maintenance as needed
- Handle guest concerns discreetly and escalate issues when appropriate
- Uphold Loews Hotels’ brand standards in every interaction and service moment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful event execution
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include :
- Two to four years’ experience in a mid-high volume banquet operation within an up-scale, hotel or convention center banquet operation, preferred
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift/pull/push 35 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift
- TIPS (or Local/State alcohol training equivalent) Certification required or ability to obtain
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
