About this role
Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Partner Marketing Manager to own the partner marketing strategy for AWS's compute and semiconductor partnerships. This individual contributor role sits within the WW AI & SUP Partner Marketing team and owns the go-to-market relationship with AWS's strategic silicon partners, with NVIDIA as the anchor partnership and a growing remit across AMD and Intel.
This is the senior marketing counterpart to AWS's most significant compute partner relationships. You will own joint marketing planning, co-marketing investment governance, and demand generation across the compute portfolio, and you will set the standard that regional and geo-based marketing teams execute. The role carries direct accountability for a large co-marketing investment pool and for the mechanisms that convert that investment into measurable customer adoption and pipeline. As the compute remit scales, this role is expected to grow a supporting resource over time; the successful candidate will help define and mentor that role as the team builds out.
The ideal candidate combines deep partner or alliance marketing expertise at scale with subject-matter credibility in compute, accelerated computing, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise B2B go-to-market. You are comfortable operating in high ambiguity, setting direction where none exists, and driving alignment across senior stakeholders who do not report to you, including specialist sales, product marketing, and partner development organizations.
Key job responsibilities
Own NVIDIA partner marketing strategy as the anchor compute partnership, setting multi-year vision and JMPs aligned to AGIs, OP2, and compute roadmap.
Extend and formalize marketing across AMD and Intel, establishing JMPs, governance, and activation where coverage is maturing.
Own and govern MDF for the compute portfolio, a pool in the tens of millions, bringing ROI discipline and oversight to unmanaged spend.
Serve as senior AWS marketing counterpart to compute partner leads, building VP/SVP relationships driving co-investment, launches, and multi-year alignment.
Own the launch playbook for compute announcements (new silicon, instance families, accelerated computing), ensuring consistent messaging and pipeline impact.
Drive demand generation delivering measurable PSQL and partner-sourced pipeline across enterprise, mid-market, and digital-native segments, with portfolio-level attribution.
Coordinate joint workshops, planning cadences, and regional execution across Americas, EMEA, and APJ.
Partner with WWSO specialist sales and HPC teams to align investment to competency-based motions and high-value pipeline.
Own portfolio KPIs and executive reporting on pipeline, campaign performance, and co-marketing ROI to VP/SVP leadership.
Build mechanisms that scale: playbooks, templates, measurement models, and rhythms the broader team executes consistently.
Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging
- Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives
