As a Shipping Lead , you'll help drive the daily operation in one of the busiest areas of our Ship Center. You'll be a hands-on leader who motivates the team, keeps freight moving, and helps ensure our stores receive the products they need to WOW our customers.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be right in the action, coaching team members, removing obstacles, and making sure safety, quality, and productivity stay top priorities.

What You'll Do

- Lead an assigned team within the Shipping department.
- Communicate daily goals, priorities, and work assignments clearly and effectively.
- Lead by example through a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Coach, develop, and support team members to help them succeed.
- Promote a safe, productive, and fun work environment.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and help identify root causes and solutions.
- Monitor workflow and adjust resources to meet changing business needs.
- Partner with leaders across departments to keep operations running smoothly.
- Recognize great performance and celebrate team wins.
- Help create an environment where crew members can Work Hard, Have Fun, and Build a Career.

Qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience leading a team or group of direct reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to coach and direct associates while following company policies and procedures.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse technology.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred, but not required.
- Experience operating Crown equipment preferred, but not required.

Must-Haves

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and support alternate shifts as business needs change.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established work methods.
- Forklift, Pallet Rider, or Manual Pallet Jack experience is helpful.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and work on elevated platforms.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot summers and cold winters.
- Ability to remain active and on your feet for extended periods.
