We are seeking a Software Systems Developer with SRE Capabilities to join our global Shopping & Pricing team , where innovation knows no borders. This team builds and operates the reliable technology that powers Sabre's travel ecosystem, delivering scalable systems and automating operational workflows for customers and internal teams. As a Software Systems Developer with SRE Capabilities, you will help build and maintain scalable applications while strengthening service reliability across our technology stack. You will partner shoulder-to-shoulder with developers, platform engineers and product teams to automate operational work, investigate production issues and turn ambitious ideas into trusted services. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a collaborative mindset and the commitment to elevate engineering quality through continuous improvement.

What you'll do

- Build, enhance and maintain scalable applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
- Strengthen service reliability through observability, automation, performance tuning and effective incident response.
- Create tools and workflows that reduce manual effort and help engineering teams ship with greater confidence.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes and drive lasting fixes across code, infrastructure and processes.
- Partner with teams across Sabre to shape technical direction, improve operational readiness and raise the bar for engineering quality.

What you'll bring

- Professional experience developing production-grade software in Java, C++, Python or a comparable language.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, Linux, networking and software performance.
- Experience with observability tools and practices, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerting.
- Experience with AI concepts, tools or services, with the ability to assess practical opportunities for applying AI to software development, automation and service operations.
- Collaborative engineering mindset, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership from design through production support.
