The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.
Your role in our mission
Having 5+ or more years of experience, this position will be responsible for supporting PMO governance, resource management, and compliance activities across multiple projects.
Resource Management & Project Plan Compliance
• Review and validate resource allocations across projects to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved staffing plans.
• Establish and maintain Microsoft Project baselines for new and ongoing projects.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of project schedules to ensure compliance with PMO standards, templates, and best practices.
• Monitor adherence to PMO processes and escalate inconsistencies or risks to PMO leadership as appropriate.
• Communicate upcoming due dates, required updates, and compliance reminders to project teams through clear, professional written communication.
Project Risk, Issue, and Dependency Support
• Assist Project Managers in documenting, tracking, and maintaining project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate and schedule internal meetings to address cross team dependencies, task conflicts, and planning gaps.
• Facilitate or co lead discussions to align teams and drive timely resolution of planning and resourcing challenges.
Operational Project Plan Maintenance
• Maintain operational and non project work plans, including tracking time spent on internal initiatives, administrative work, and non billable activities.
• Support the PMO in maintaining visibility into operational workload and capacity.
• Assist with periodic reporting, data consolidation, and analysis for PMO leadership and stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Required Skills & Competencies:
• 10+ years of experience supporting PMO, project governance, or enterprise delivery environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and familiarity with enterprise project management tools.
• Strong written communication skills, particularly for email based coordination and compliance communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, technical leads, and PMO leadership.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities.
• Comfort working in a structured, compliance driven environment with established processes and governance expectations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret project data and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in the healthcare domain, with preference for candidates supporting Medicaid or Medicaid related programs.
• Familiarity with PMBOK or other recognized project management frameworks.
• Experience writing or executing SQL queries for data validation, reporting, or analysis.
• Exposure to software development environments and Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise scale PMO reporting or governance initiatives
