How you will make contributions that matter...
- Support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams with daily plant operations and quality-related activities.
- Assist with product evaluations, inspections, testing, and documentation to help ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement projects focused on manufacturing processes, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Help collect, organize, and analyze quality data to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Assist with sanitation, GMP, HACCP, and food safety program verification activities.
- Support internal audits, process reviews, and compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, laboratory, and quality teams to understand plant operations and quality requirements.
- Learn and apply regulatory, customer, and Saputo quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for the Quality team.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
You are best suited for the role if you…
- Are pursuing a bachelors' degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field (preferred), or have equivalent experience.
- Have an interest in food manufacturing, quality assurance, and food safety systems.
- Are able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Have a working knowledge of computer programs (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.)
- Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times.
- Have the ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed.
- Display traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality.
- Can communicate effectively and efficiently.
