About this role
Need software engineer to work on in-house developed apps in CAE domain with the knowledge of OOP concepts, JAVA/Angular programming and Python programming. Job involves software engineering responsibilities in CAE domain such as understanding the requirement, design and develop the solution, problem debugging and analysis, testing the developed components/models and pushing the tested module to the version-controlled environment (GitHub). Experience in AI System Integration - Embedding AI models into existing software architectures, APIs, and enterprise applications and prompt engineering preferred.
Note: Ford GSR 6 position on-site Ford Chennai office, India
- 4+ years of experience of utilizing Java/Python full stack to design scalable web applications by leveraging microservices architecture and APIGEE / RESTful APIs.
- 3+ years of experience of utilizing Angular to create user friendly front-end and enable real-time data updates in the web application user interface.’
- SQL / Oracle database experience or PostGres
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development (Cloud Run, Pub Sub, GCS Bucket) and deployment experience
- Docker, and Kubernetes experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong in functional, integration and regression testing manually and automatically
- Experience working complex SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data in relational database
- Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories
- Experience with test-driven development practices
- Experience troubleshooting application and performance issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when facing unexpected problems
- Bachelor’s Degree is required;
