Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations at the Rolls-Royce Solutions Aiken manufacturing site. This role provides day-to-day leadership for receiving material storage, inventory control, kitting, internal material flow, shipping, and warehouse team performance to ensure safe, accurate, efficient, and timely support of manufacturing and customer commitments.

The Warehouse Manager will strengthen warehouse discipline, improve material availability, drive continuous improvement and develop the team capabilities needed to support operational performance and continued growth at the Aiken site.

What you will be doing

- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations for the Aiken manufacturing site, including receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, picking, kitting, internal material movement, shipping, and warehouse team performance.
- Ensure materials are available, accurate, and delivered to production when needed by maintaining effective warehouse processes, clear priorities, and strong coordination with Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.
- Own warehouse performance through measurable KPIs and operating routines, including safety, inventory accuracy, cycle count effectiveness, material availability, on-time delivery, storage utilization, productivity, and cost control.
- Own and sustain 6S throughout the warehouse, ensuring a safe, clean, organized, and visually controlled workplace through regular audits, corrective actions, and clear ownership.
- Build and sustain standard work for warehouse activities, including material handling, stock location management, transaction discipline, non-conforming material controls, packaging, labeling, and shipment readiness.

Basic Requirements:

- Associate degree in engineering, business management, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field with 7+ years of warehouse, materials, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or distribution experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field with 5+ years of warehouse, materials, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or distribution experience, OR
- Master’s degree in engineering, business management, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field with 3+ years of warehouse, materials, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or distribution experience, OR
- JD/PhD in engineering, business management, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field with 1+ year of warehouse, materials, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or distribution experience, OR
- 9+ years of warehouse, materials, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or distribution experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience leading warehouse, materials, logistics, or distribution operations in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a complex, safety-focused, global organization.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, MRP, or warehouse management systems, with strong understanding of inventory transactions, cycle counting, stock location control, kitting, and material movement processes.
- Proven track record improving warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, material availability, on-time delivery, storage utilization, productivity, and cost control through effective operating routines and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, visual management, root cause analysis, and standard work to improve warehouse flow, reduce waste, strengthen process discipline, and develop high-performing teams; Green Belt accreditation preferred.

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range.
