About your manager

Tomáš Karas  is a Director who leads the whole Data Management team in Technology Consulting. Combining the roles of Data Architect and Delivery data lead, he helps clients build large-scale data platforms and transform data using modern data & AI technologies into business value.

His teams deliver solutions that automate complex processes and save clients thousands of hours of operational effort using a combination of data & AI platforms. Outside of work, you'll likely meet him with a team at some place that involves music either on dance floor or behind the mic on karaoke. At home he spends time with family of 4 kids and their famous guinea pig farm.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will join a supportive team of experienced analysts, data engineers, and architects. Together, we dig into large datasets, uncover key information, clean and transform data, and use it to automate business processes.

You don't need to be an expert yet. We will guide you, teach you real-world skills, and help you grow into a confident data professional. You will:

- Learn to navigate large, complex databases and identify the data that matters.
- Clean, structure, and prepare data for analysis and further use.
- Help define transformation rules and derive new insights from raw data.
- Assist in building reports, dashboards, and visualizations that tell a clear story.
- Work with modern tools and platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and MS Fabric.
- Learn directly from experienced analysts and engineers on real client projects.
- Develop your communication and presentation skills — we believe a great analyst can explain what the data means, not just what it shows.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, and testing teams.

- You are currently studying a technical, IT, or data-related field
- You have a foundational knowledge of SQL or Python and a genuine interest in developing it further
- You think analytically — you enjoy spotting patterns, asking "why," and paying attention to detail
- You communicate well and are eager to learn how to present data insights to non-technical audiences

What will help you stand out

- Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakehouse, or data modeling concepts
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Hands-on exposure to tools like Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of Python, PySpark, or Spark
- Awareness of CI/CD practices or Infrastructure as Code
- Any exposure to banking or insurance industry data
