Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates. A key element of the program’s success is preparing Fellows to meet evolving workforce needs across various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.
Fellows have the opportunity to work closely with innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners while engaging with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, teaching, service, and scholarly activities.
In partnership with Northeastern University, Sarepta Therapeutics is offering a two-year Scientific Communications Fellowship based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Summary
The Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellow will join the Sarepta Global Scientific Communications (Sci Comms) team for a two-year commitment. The objective of the Global Sci Comms team is to develop and execute a holistic strategic communication plan that supports Sarepta’s platforms and programs by building timely, balanced, evidence-based scientific narratives that provide clear and consistent content for a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders.
This fellowship is designed to provide the Fellow with in-depth experience within Scientific Communications through collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and engagement with external experts on key company initiatives. The Fellow will be immersed in publication and medical communication activities related to clinical research, health economics and outcomes research, and real-world evidence. The Fellow will support strategic dissemination of data across a wide range of channels and lead diverse projects throughout the two-year program based on business needs and professional interests.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)-accredited institution
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern University
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Drive the development of scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts, in adherence to good publication practices
- Review draft publications for scientific quality and data accuracy
- Develop medical field decks, booth collateral, digital assets, and symposium content aligned with platform strategic imperatives
- Obtain cross-functional alignment among relevant internal stakeholders and coordinate review, approval, and related activities associated with the development of scientific communications and publications
- Collaborate with medical communication agencies to support the timely execution of publication, congress, and medical communication plans
- Identify and propose innovative solutions to resolve issues and improve efficiencies in current processes

Expected Hiring Range:
$60,315.00 - $85,192.50
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
