Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

Working as a Commercial Engineer will give you the opportunity to contribute directly to the success of our region through your know-how and commitment.

You will be:

- Accountable for the management of the entire internal sales process from start to finish.

- Play an important role in the financial engineering of our projects, by monitoring cost developments and key financials

- Control the cost base and develop pricing strategies together with our Sales Managers to optimize the business case for the customers as well as for Vestas

- Gather and evaluate project cost, estimate, and prepare project cost calculations based on customer requirements

- Perform sales opportunity analysis, develop sales capture plans and work with the sales project team to determine the optimal bid for a given project opportunity

- Contribute to the bid preparation process, create tender submissions, and ensure that the bids are submitted on time

- Establish and maintain correspondence with customers and update the CRM database

- Occasionally attend exhibitions, conferences, and customer events

- Work across departments and functions to direct and coordinate activities and deliverables within the sales project team and other internal and external stakeholders

- You stand close to the customer and the market and will be responsible for maintain our Customer - Relationship Management (CRM) Tool with relevant information regarding deals, milestones, developments, and offerings.

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

- We expect you to come from a commercial and technical focused background having 3+ years of professional experience in Costing or Project Management

- You hold a degree in business administration, engineering, or related subject with the motivation to join a thriving sales community in Vestas

- You will be truly enthusiastic about renewables and wish to contribute actively and tangibly to making the world a better place.

- You have solid communication skills and convey information clearly, concisely, and engagingly.

- You are independent and your colleagues can count on you to take ownership of your work and deliverables

- You are service-oriented while engaging, with a can-do attitude and comfortable working in an international, motivated team

- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
