System Operability, Maintainability & Operations preparations Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking to strengthen our Galileo Service Team with a System Operability, Maintainability and Operations Preparations Engineer to deliver services to our customer based in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, adding a project-management-experienced and ambitious team member.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and report on operations return of experience, and derive operability and maintainability requirements for system evolutions
- Participate, from an operator point of view, in system design and development activities (e.g., CDR, QR, SDQR) to ensure proper operability and maintainability of systems in development and to prepare operations and maintenance documentation, including through integrated teams within system development projects
- Support the definition, verification, and implementation of system operational transitions associated with system evolutions, including through integrated teams within system development projects

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Engineering degree in Aerospace, preferably Master's
- Operations (OPS) experience in GCC-D or GSOC
- Experience in Project Management, preferably PMP certified
- Fluency in English both spoken and written

Desirable Skills

- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Fast learner with the ability to work with little or no supervision
- Good communication skills and strong team player
- Ability to prioritize different and parallel activities
- Problem-solving aptitude
