Meaningful Work From Day One
Join our team in a pivotal role driving Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) strategy across multiple U.S. markets! As the primary liaison between commercial teams, distributors, production, and Supply Planning, you'll transform market intelligence, customer programs, historical trends, and commercial objectives into actionable demand plans. By leveraging advanced analytics and scenario planning, you'll identify risks and opportunities, support new product launches, and enhance planning processes to strengthen supply chain performance. We seek a strategic, inquisitive thinker who can seamlessly navigate between detailed analysis and the broader vision, challenge conventional assumptions, and align diverse stakeholders around bold yet practical decisions.
What You Can Expect
Forecasting
- Develop short- and long-term demand plans at the appropriate market, brand, and SKU levels by combining statistical modeling with qualitative market intelligence, historical trends, customer programs, innovation activity, and sales exception management.
- Lead market level Commercial Forecast meetings to challenge assumptions, reconcile goals that differ significantly from historical trends, identify gaps and scenarios requiring leadership decisions, document assumptions, improve bias, and continuously increase forecast accuracy.
- Manage the relationship with the internal National Accounts team and ensure customer programs, promotions, new product introductions, and phase-out assumptions are incorporated into the demand plan, with risks and opportunities clearly communicated to stakeholders.
- Act as a regional subject matter expert for demand planning in Kinaxis, maintaining forecast integrity, validating planning outputs, and partnering on system and process enhancements that improve the flow of demand signals into production and supply decisions.
Supply Chain Optimization
- Ensure short-term demand changes are communicated to the appropriate production team.
- Partner with US Bailment Supply Planning to manage inventory replenishment and mitigate potential shortages for bailment markets through proactive communication.
- Leverage problem solving skills to resolve complex supply chain issues using scenario planning in Kinaxis.
Performance Management
- Manage key supply chain KPIs, including forecast accuracy and bias, perform root cause analysis of material variances, and provide transparent reporting, actionable insights, and forward-looking recommendations to senior management.
- Shape and support local and global supply chain initiatives from conception through execution, leading cross functional workstreams, and influencing outcomes without direct management responsibility.
What You Bring To The Table
- Experience: 5+ years of supply chain experience, including at least 3 years in Demand Planning, forecasting, S&OP/IBP, or a closely related planning role within a complex, multi-market environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in supply chain, business, or a related field.
- Technical Savvy: High proficiency in ERP, demand planning, and advanced planning systems, with SAP IBP and Kinaxis preferred, along with advanced Excel skills and experience using data visualization tools to analyze large datasets and communicate planning insights.
- Analytical Mindset: A proven ability to translate complex data into business stories, identify process improvement opportunities, and turn insights into practical planning decisions.
- Interpersonal Excellence: A skilled communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and align Commercial, Finance, and Operations around a fact-based consensus demand plan.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a complex, changing environment and possess the organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
What Makes You Unique
- CPG or beverage alcohol experience, especially in demand planning, S&OP/IBP, customer planning, distributor replenishment, or high-volume consumer goods environments.
- Experience improving planning processes, reducing forecast bias, strengthening cross-functional routines, or using root-cause analysis to improve service, inventory, and forecast accuracy.
- Comfort working with syndicated data, customer programs, promotional activity, seasonality, innovation launches, and portfolio transitions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate process gaps into sustainable ways of working through documentation, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.
