About this role
Under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Medical Director, the CT Technologistperforms complex CT imaging procedures, including diagnostic imaging of the human anatomy and vascular structures in accordance with established protocols. Responsibilities include patient positioning and care, image acquisition and archival, PACS verification, 3D post-processing, and administration of IV contrast under physician supervision and applicable policies and regulations.
You will provide safe, compassionate patient care by monitoring patients, communicating with patients and care teams, maintaining confidentiality, practicing radiation safety and infection control, and responding to patient needs including first aid when necessary. You will coordinate exams, patient transport, and clinical communication while maintaining accurate documentation and Radiology Information System records.
The CT technologist will float between UCLA Radiology locations and participate in rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage. May serve in an Alternate Lead capacity when assigned.

Salary Range: $55.38 - $73.00/Hourly

Required:
- ARRT-CT license
- ARRT-R license
- CRT license
- Venipuncture Certificate
- BLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross in-course programs
- Associate's Degree from a Radiology Technologist Program
Preferred:
- 3 years of prior experience as a CT Tech
- Bachelor's Degree
