If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Human Capital Management team on a Fixed Term Contract, to support the Goldman Sachs Warsaw office during a key period of our growth strategy

In this role, you will partner closely with employees, managers, and HCM colleagues across Warsaw, London, and Continental Europe to deliver outstanding people solutions, drive strategic initiatives, and help shape the future of HR through innovation and transformation.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Operational Excellence

- Be at the heart of the employee experience, providing trusted support and ensuring the seamless delivery of HR processes and services.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers on a broad range of HCM-related matters
- Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, mobility, development, promotions, performance processes, and offboarding
- Deliver operational excellence across local HR processes, including employee documentation, sick leave administration, employment certificates, and employee records management
- Partner with specialist HCM teams including Employee Relations, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Global Mobility, Diversity & Inclusion, and Wellness & Benefits to provide a seamless employee experience
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees across the Warsaw office

Strategic Projects, Talent Initiatives & Events

- Help shape the people agenda by leading initiatives that strengthen culture, talent development, engagement, and inclusion.
- Support and drive key people priorities and strategic initiatives for the Warsaw office in partnership with teams across Continental Europe
- Collaborate with leadership teams to deliver local talent, engagement, and development programmes
- Partner with employee networks and affinity groups, including Parenting Forum, Women's Networks, and LGBTQ+ communities, on office-wide initiatives
- Lead and support high-impact events, workshops, learning programmes, and employee engagement activities across Warsaw and the wider region

Transformation, Innovation & AI

- Play an active role in shaping the future of HR through process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Contribute to HCM transformation initiatives focused on improving efficiency,
- scalability, and employee experience
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery through automation and digital solutions
- Help drive the adoption of new ways of working that strengthen operational effectiveness and data-driven decision making

Skills & Experience Required

- 1-2 years’ HR experience, preferably including HR specialist / generalist experience preferably gained within comparable industry
- Bachelor's degree
- Polish labour law knowledge would be preferable
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and trustworthiness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, highly organized with strong execution, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Demonstrated client service focus
- An effective and open communicator
- Being open and sensitive to cultural/global differences, excellent teamwork skills
- Systems knowledge: extensive knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
- Fluency in Polish and English are essential
