Qualifications:
o 7 years in the aerospace industry. Required background is in engineering or program management. Supply chain management roles are acceptable, especially if operating as a hardware buyer within a prime.
o 3 years supporting business development activities, such as proposal writing, capture management, pipeline development, etc. (Note: I intend this to mean that they probably supported BD while they were a PM or technical person, not that they have three years fully focused on these things)
o Demonstrated experience building relationships with key decision makers within the aerospace industry (Note: this doesn’t have to be in the context of BD. It could be building relationships upwards at a customer, networking for jobs, being on an industry board, etc.)
o US Citizenship
Preferred:
Experience with Shipley and/or Miller Heimann
FAR/DFAR knowledge
Security clearance
